Destination Wedding in Marrakech

Updated: Aug 23

When Almaz and Ste got in touch about their wedding in Marrakech I was super excited to capture their beautiful wedding within the heart of Morocco.

As much as the planning was so much fun discussing all of the ideas with Almaz over capturing the 3 day event, im going to skip straight to the fun stuff and start off with their Pre-wedding dinner at La Pergola Rooftop. The day before the wedding we had a run through of what the day will be like which was very useful for me to scope out all the best spots in advance as well as have some time with Almaz and Ste for a pre Wedding Shoot before their family dinner where I got to meet most of their family and friends that will be attending the wedding.

The following afternoon I arrived at the beautiful Riad Alkemia to see the beautiful bride get ready.

Almaz and Ste decided to do a first look which worked so well, as we managed to take all of their stunning couple's portraits before their guest arrived, so later they could just enjoy the day while I capture all the precious memories.

The couple than greeted their guest with traditional Moroccan Tea and Biscuits... but of course some champagne too. After all, it is a celebration.

Followed by a beautiful blessing of their union with all their loved ones.

The day only got better when Almaz and Ste hired an incredible Moroccan Band to bring some of the culture into their day and get all their guest dancing on the rooftop of Riad Alkemia for the Cocktail Hour!

For the reception, we all went to Riad 72 which had the most beautiful candle lit setting you could dream of!

After the most incredible dinner and some emotional yet funny speeches, the guests (and i) partied the night away on the beautiful rooftop. Enjoy below the remain reception photos ( and trust me when I say this was a very difficult blog to write without including the over 1000 photos that were delivered for this wedding)

a moment for one of my favourite photos ever.....
